Did they put a sicke to the grain on the "High Sabbath?

Lev. 23:9-11 “And YHWH spoke to Moshe saying, Speak to the children of Yisrael and you shall say to them, ‘When you come into the land which I give you and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest, and he shall wave the sheaf before YHWH for your acceptance. On the morrow after the Shabbat the priest waves it.”

The Hebrew word here is sabbath, not week. If Shavuot is counted from the morrow after the High Sabbath, it will only fall on the morrow after a weekly sabbath one out of every seven years.

The Rabbinic calculation of Shavuot is incorrect. On that topic, we both agree.
