THE DECEPTION OF SUBSTITUTIONAL SACRIFICE

What is the purpose of sacrifice? Why did the Creator command sacrifice? Did He command sacrifice to teach mankind that His justice requires some type of punishment for satisfaction? If your answer is: "yes," you may want to read The Deception of Substitutional Sacrifice .

Consider the following comment on sacrifice and what really pleases Him .....

"Wherewith shall I come before the L-RD, and bow myself before the high G-d? shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old? Will the L-RD be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul? He hath showed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the L-RD require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy G-d?"
Micah 6:6-8
